I qualified from UCT in 1987 with a BSC Physiotherapy. I spent my early years working in hospitals and clinics in London, Johannesburg and Cape Town and have run my own practice from home for 15 years.
I have done numerous physio courses over the years covering varied aspects and angles of the profession. My specific interests are in the alternative medicine field, where I have studied further modalities such as reflexology, nutrition, acupuncture, yoga and meditation. Ten years ago, I studied Craniosacral Therapy with Al Pelowski through the South African Institute of Cranial Studies. This has helped me to combine and integrate my work and I have developed a better understanding of dis-ease in the body, the body-mind connection and our ability to heal ourselves.
I have three children who have contributed to the bulk of my experience as a therapist!
I offer one on one hands – on treatments in a quiet and safe space.
